SUPER 8'S DAY - SUNDAY MARCH 6TH

What a great success Sunday was. To see all the kids, dads and senior players all out there playing was fantastic and the spirit of the competition was absolutely perfect.
Thanks again to all that helped on the day in whatever role, and thanks to all the players who came along to make sure we had all eight teams filled. We raised over $2500.00 for the day which is sensational given that so much fun was also had by those participating too. Given all the positive feedback, I think we can safely say that the Super 8's will be back next season, bigger and better than this year.
Congrats goes to Team 2, so well led by Mick Arthurson who won the grand final against the previously undefeated Team 5 (bad luck Neil) - and also a great effort by Will Arthurson from the U12's who was the Player of the Day, scoring over 150 runs in an unbelievable effort.
Thanks too goes to our major sponsors on the day, Harvey Norman Chadstone, who provided us with the fantastic bed that we auctioned off (great work Ako!), Topline Sports in Bayswater, Lazy Moes Nunawading, Dahlsens Hardware BoxHill, KFC Brentford Square and AMF bowling Forest Hill for all the donated prizes and vouchers handed out on the day.
